Hrithik Roshan says Kangana Ranaut has a disease called Asperger syndrome. Here’s what it actually is

The battle between Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan is getting murkier with Hrithik Roshan slapping a legal notice on Kangana Ranaut for calling him her ex among a few other things. Among the many allegations that Hrithik has made,  he also says that Kangana suffers from a disease called Asperger syndrome.

Now Asperger although rare and not severe is a developmental disorder and also an autism spectrum disorder.  According to the US National Library of Medicine, the syndrome causes greater or lesser degree of impairment in language and communication skills. It is characterised by lack or poor social skills and physical clumsiness. People with Asperger also exhibit repetitive or restrictive patterns of behaviour and thought.

The disease is mostly a hidden disability which means you can’t really tell whether a person suffers from Asperger or not only from their appearance. However, they have difficulties mainly in social interaction, communication and imagination.

Since Asperger is an autism spectrum disorder, the symptoms of Asperger are more or less similar to autism but people with Asperger suffer less than those with autism. They also exhibit average or above average intelligence. They may also get obsessed with a particular hobby or an interest and also get fascinated by routine.
